A supportive school is one that ensures there will be a circle of people to understand and respond to each individual student’s needs. At SOLA, the circle of support is a given; it is an essential part of who we are.

Back to School!

School begins Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 with a new student assembly in the Open Space at 11:30 am at which new students will meet the staff and receive their timetables and booklists. Timetables and booklists will be distributed to returning students in the main office between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.

All Students will attend each of their classes for 30 minutes beginning with period 1 at 12:30 pm to receive course outlines and an introduction to course material. Their will be no breaks between classes. Students will be dismissed for the day at 2:30pm.

The first day of regular classes begins at 8:45 am on Wednesday, September 3rd. Please note the daily schedule for the new school year:

Period 1: 8:45 am-10:00 am

Period 2: 10:05 am-11:20 am

Lunch: 11:20 am-12:10 pm

Period 3: 12:10 pm-1:25 pm

Period 4: 1:30 pm- 2:45 pm

Tutorials: 2:50 pm-3:40 pm

*An additional class will be held once a week for AP classes: 2:50 pm-4:05 pm. See instructor for more details.
